What are Mineral Rights

Ownership of mineral rights otherwise known as a Mineral Estate It is the right of the owner to exploit, mine, and/or produce any or all of the minerals lying below the surface of the property. These “Minerals” include all organic and inorganic substances that form a part of the soil. There are exceptions made to sand, gravel and Limestone and also Subsurface water because these are normally considered part of the surface of the land.
